AMFusion

AMFusion is the Autumn Markley Method - Autumn's own approach to keratin-fusion K-tip extensions, designed to be thorough and fast, with great results in half the time. It is what she uses every day, and what she teaches to stylists through the AM Academy. Like every method here, it is matched to your hair at a consultation first.

What actually happens

From the consultation to the move-up

Step 01

The consultation

Complimentary, 15 to 30 minutes, in person. Your hair type, lifestyle, the length and density you want, your color and your goals decide the method - none of which can be assessed over the phone. You leave knowing which method suits you and what it will cost.
Step 02

Matching the hair

The hair is $375–$475+ per bundle, depending on length and brand. Most clients need three to five bundles for fullness, or four to seven for fullness and length. We match the hair to your own color and grade before anything is ordered.
Step 03

The install

Between two and six hours depending on the method. AMFusion, Autumn's own method, takes about two to three - around half the time of a traditional fusion install. The seams are the whole craft, and they do not get rushed.
Step 04

Keeping them

Weft methods need a move-up every four to six weeks. Bonded methods run three to four months and then come out for a full re-install. We book the next one before you leave.

Common questions

Extension questions, answered plainly

The hair is $375–$475+ per bundle, depending on length and brand, and most clients need 3 to 5 bundles for fullness, or 4 to 7 for fullness and length. With K-tip the install is included in the bundle price; wefts are priced by the row. You get your exact number at a complimentary consultation.

Bonded methods - AMFusion, Great Lengths, fusion and K-tip - go three to four months between appointments. Weft methods need a move-up every four to six weeks.

K-tip. Each strand is bonded individually with keratin, so nothing pulls at the scalp, and it is the gentlest method on your own hair. AMFusion is Autumn Markley's own K-tip method.

Yes, and it is complimentary. Density, length and hair grade all change the plan, and none of them can be assessed over the phone.
